Honeywell, with the vehicle specification still in control
Honeywell is our main refrigerant brand. The brand does not replace the vehicle label: the refrigerant type and charge procedure must match the fitted system. R-134a and R-1234yf are different products with different equipment, service connections and handling requirements.
What should be checked first?

Start with system output, charge condition and heat rejection
Weak cooling across all vents can involve refrigerant loss, compressor output, condenser performance, incorrect charge or excessive cabin heat load. The correct refrigerant is confirmed from the vehicle label before any service connection is made.

- Vent temperature under a repeatable operating condition
- High- and low-side pressure behaviour
- Leak evidence before approving a refill

- Whether all vents are equally warm
- Any recent refill or AC repair
A low charge is a condition, not the root cause. Leak diagnosis may be needed before refrigerant is added.
Compare condenser airflow with compressor control
Cooling that improves with road speed directs attention toward heat rejection and operating load, but it does not prove that the condenser fan is faulty. Fan command, fan speed, condenser cleanliness, pressures and compressor response must be compared.

- Fan operation at idle with AC requested
- Pressure rise as the car remains stationary
- Condenser obstruction or heat-soak effects

Stop using the vehicle and arrange inspection if AC symptoms appear with engine overheating or a serious temperature warning.
Separate an airflow restriction from a cooling fault
Cold air with poor volume points toward a different branch than strong airflow that is not cold. Cabin filter restriction, blower performance, evaporator icing, duct control and contamination each require different evidence.

- Air volume at each blower speed
- Cabin-filter condition and installation
- Whether airflow fades after prolonged cooling

- State whether one zone is affected
A burning smell or smoke requires prompt inspection. Do not keep operating the blower to test it repeatedly.
Track the signal and operating condition when cooling drops
Intermittent cooling can involve pressure protection, temperature sensing, compressor control, wiring, evaporator freeze protection or a heat-related electrical fault. A snapshot taken while the system is working normally may miss the cause.

We do not use one parts brand for every vehicle. A compressor, condenser, expansion valve, hose, pressure sensor, filter, O-ring or oil must be compatible with the exact system and the approved repair path.

Selection must match displacement, electrical control, mounting, pulley, oil and refrigerant.
