The component choice should reflect how difficult the labour is to repeat
A compressor is not approved from warm vents alone. A condenser is judged on leakage, restriction, physical damage and heat rejection. Blower complaints are separated into motor, controller, wiring and the air path before a full assembly is priced.
For access-heavy evaporator or buried HVAC work, original or proven-quality parts usually make more sense because repeating the labour can cost more than the saving on a cheaper component. Easier-access filters, seals and selected hoses can allow a broader parts choice when specification and support are clear.
